(Before It's News)
Ah, yes, this looks deceivingly innocent. A light dusting of snow over night with more of that bitter, below 0F temperatures. Too bad all it did was hide the 3/4″ of solid ice under it!
Walking around the farm is pure treachery at this point. Letting the animals out of the barn is an act of cruelty because they can not walk on this. The outside spigot was froze again yesterday so I had to bucket out hot water to break up the ice in the troughs. Rough going. Couldn't use the truck to haul it in quantity, even the big 4WD can't go on a sheet of ice.
Oh, woe is me! LOL I am sooooo ready for spring! I am starting to dream about seedlings and gardening, LOL Normally, I have a kitchen full of seedlings by now and I'm fighting the cats over them. This winter needs to end!
Okay, add one more name to the jar for the raffle. 6 days left until I draw the winner. The odds are still good with just 7 people entered. If you would like a chance to win this hand made double stitch crochet blanket, get in the raffle now. It's full/queen size (it's laying on a queen). YOu may use the paypal button on the sidebar, $10 an entry or 3 entries for $25. You can still mail me an entry via usps if you need to.
