Water Savers For Survival (Video).

Lately I have been very interested in learning survival skills, self sufficeincy, and saving money. My first question was…how can I save more water? How can I be water stingy? Without electricity the simple things in life like washing your clothes could be quite a hassle but with these methods below everything could be a whole lot easier and way cheaper.

 

Washing Laundry

To save more water try using the old fashioned washboards.

 

 

Hand Wringers instead of a dryer…these can get quite expensive.

 

 

If you want a more updated version of washing your clothes without electricity try the Wonder Wash.  It uses a hand crank to agitate clothes in soapy water. This can be a bit more expensive than washboards.

 

 

Another good idea would be to have a portable bathtub:

 

 

Water barrels for rainfall:
