9 Ways Hydrogen Peroxide May Be Useful When SHTF
Hydrogen peroxide or H2O2 is the only germicidal agent composed of water and oxygen only. This chemical compound kills disease organisms through oxidation. This chemical compound is also considered as the world’s safest, all natural sanitizer. Hydrogen peroxide will break down into oxygen and water when it reacts with organic matter.
Bird Mites Infections
According to some reports hydrogen peroxide effectively kills the mites under the skin of people who are infected by tiny mites. If you are infected by bird mites, spray hydrogen peroxide to your skin for a few times (with several minutes in between each applications) and you will have an amazing result.

Foot Fungus
Make a 50/50 mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water. Spray the mixture in your foot every night and let it dry.
Wound Infections
Soak your cuts or any infections in 3% hydrogen peroxide for 5-10 minutes for several times daily. If you want to get rid of boils, fungus, and other skin infections, add a half bottle of hydrogen peroxide to your bath.
Mouthwash
Fill the cap of the hydrogen peroxide’s bottle and hold it in your mouth for ten minutes, after ten minutes spit the hydrogen peroxide out. Do the same process daily, your teeth will become whiter and you will not have any canker sores.
Sinus Infections
Add 1 tbsp of 3% hydrogen peroxide to 1 cup of non-chlorinated water and use it as a nasal spray. You can adjust the amount of hydrogen peroxide depending on the degree of the sinus infection.
Relieve Toothache
Hydrogen peroxide is not considered as a pain killer, but because of its anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties it is effective to use in treating pathogen that can cause infection. If your tooth is aching and you cannot go to your dentist, fill the cap of the hydrogen peroxide’s bottle and hold it in your mouth for 10 minutes. Repeat the same process several times a day.
Toothpaste
Make your own toothpaste by adding baking soda and 3% hydrogen peroxide.
Keep Your Toothbrush Clean
To keep your toothbrush free from germs, soak it in hydrogen peroxide.
Wound Care
Hydrogen peroxide is usually used for cleaning wounds and removing dead tissue. You can also use hydrogen peroxide to stop the bleeding of small wounds.
It is recommended that infections and cuts must be soaked in hydrogen peroxide for ten minutes several times a day. But you need to wash and rinse your wounds. Do not leave hydrogen peroxide on open wound for a long period of time because it will cause mild damage to tissue on open wounds.
