Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}
The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. I am chomping at the bit to start on the cowl that I posted about on fb over the weekend (and thanks to you, I have now chosen a color, too!), but I do need to get going on Little L’s birthday gifts so I have set the cowl aside for now.
I am knitting him this sweater for his fourth birthday. Since that pattern only goes up to 18-24 months, I am modifying it to hopefully fit. Right now it’s looking a bit big but that’s usually how it goes when I modify pattern sizing. The one area I am concerned with is the color work at the bottom. I hope the trees don’t look too small on an upsized sweater!
