(Before It's News)

When Caleb was tiny, we decorated our large guest bath for him in frogs. We’ve kept things the same for four years and it has worked well for our little boy. I am the first one to admit that the darker color made the room look smaller and I did get bored with it. The plus side of having a darker paint color? It hid everything! All of those little boy fingerprints….

It was cute, but it was time for the frogs to go! I have been drawn to the spa-like bathrooms plastered on Pinterest. I wanted something serene and peaceful to go with the white cabinets. While picking out paint, I found the HomeRight EZ-Twist Roller. The paint loads right into the handle and supposedly you can paint quicker.

Ryan and I wanted to give it a try on this long bathroom….

I am very fortunate to have a husband that goes along with all of my DIY ideas…

It took a few minutes to set everything up and Ryan was my official paint roller loader. No paint tray for Caleb to step in, no drop cloths to catch any mess…. This is my idea of painting!

Once we got the hang of it, everything was so simple!

I absolutely love this roller! I painted the large areas of the bathroom so quickly and I only loaded this roller three times for the entire bathroom with two coats of paint. Normally when I paint I not only paint the walls and floors, but my arms and clothes are covered. This is the least messy paint job I have done in my entire life.

I still cannot believe how well our paint covered these brown walls. I really expected this whole project to take a lot longer.

Ryan tried out the Wagner Smart Edge Roller and really liked it as well. These two tools made a huge difference in the amount of time and clean up.

From start to finish, we had about four hours in painting. With all the cutting in with this bathroom, I think it’s pretty awesome! Come back for the reveal later on this week!

The paint color is Cosmic Rays from Olympic. We used the ONE Interior Paint and it covered so well. We did not apply any primer and it covered perfectly in two coats! I will most definitely spend the extra money for this paint next time.
