(Before It's News)
I wanted to do a quick update on Whole 30. I think this may be the least I’ve actually thought about food and still lost weight. I like knowing that I can eat whatever and it works. There’s really nothing complicated about Whole 30 once you get the hang of it. I eat lean meats, veggies, fruits, and potatoes. I do not count calories and it’s working well for me. I end up not feeling restricted and I still feel satisfied. I don’t know of any other eating plan or diet that allows this kind of freedom.
I can definitely tell a difference in the way I feel when I eat well. My body functions much better and I have the energy to tackle my busy life now. I don’t know how I would accomplish all that I do in a day if I wasn’t eating better.
I know I cannot physically show you how much better I feel, but I can show you progress. My body is really changing! I had no idea it was so drastic until I started comparing. The picture below on the left was taken on February 17, 2015. The picture on the right was taken yesterday on April 15, 2015. So we roughly have a two month comparison. My hips and legs are really changing!
I also compared March 31, 2015, to now and still noticed a difference!
All of that is without counting calories. I’m just eating real food! Dinner last night was smoked turkey sausage, a baked potato, and a salad. It didn’t take a whole lot of effort, but it was a great dinner. We are using our grill so much more now and the food has so much flavor! Throw meat and veggies on the grill and you’ve got an awesome meal.
