I shared this weight loss comparison on Instagram and Facebook this week. Sometimes it is so easy to get bogged down with small progress updates that I lose sight of the bigger picture.
This little guy has been so funny this week. We’ve spent a lot of time talking about life in general and his ideas about things keep me laughing. His obsession with nature shows and DIY network have been so entertaining.
We took a break to have dinner with our family this week. I got to see my great-uncle, my aunts and uncles, my cousin and parents. It was so nice to put everything on hold to spend time with them. It feels like we don’t do it often enough.
From the moment Ryan and I knew we were moving, I dreamed of sitting on the patio with a cup of coffee in the mornings. This week I finally got the chance to do that. It was so peaceful. I had a sleeping little boy in the house, a husband sitting beside me, and a beautiful spring morning. I felt so relaxed and calm. It’s honestly the first time I have felt peace in weeks. We have been so busy and I just needed a few moments to fully enjoy these blessings in our life.
I took Caleb to the doctor this week to have a wart frozen. You would not believe the fuss this child made over something so simple! I had to talk him through things, but once it actually started he was fine. Go figure…
I found a couple of things for the house and I am so excited. I wanted to bring in some color to the outdoor areas and I found a cute mat for the front porch. And I bought it….
Caleb and I walked through Target. While he found a million things he wanted, I found a simple carafe that will match my colors in the kitchen just right. Bring on the fresh lemonade!
