(Before It's News)

It’s official: This weekend royally kicked our behinds! Ryan and I were determined to wrap up the old house projects so that the house can be listed this week. We have pushed ourselves mentally and physically for weeks. I am beyond exhausted, but it feels great to see huge progress!
Caleb and I spent some time together on Friday afternoon. We got frozen yogurt, sat outside, and relaxed. It was just so peaceful because we were the only ones there.

Our hardwood floor was delivered Friday and we cannot wait to see it installed! This is where the fun part begins. Working on our new home is ten times better than finishing projects at the old house. It’s exciting to finally start unpacking and setting up a home.

Saturday my sweet mama came over and we scrubbed the old house. I honestly do not know what I’d have done without her help. We cleaned carpet for hours!

Caleb had Fun Day at the ball fields and we got to see my niece. She played softball this year.

Tara and I are just proud we survived Baseball 2015!

I think my child would prefer to have his hair look this way daily. It was as wild as his little personality!

Sunday morning Caleb and I went to church for Mother’s Day breakfast. I have enjoyed this tradition with him for a few years now. He’s always so sweet! One of his favorite things right now is taking me on a “date”.

My husband has truly been amazing. I don’t really have the words to describe what he’s done for our family. He has worked countless hours and taken care of our family during this whole process. I couldn’t imagine going through life with anyone else. We have discovered just how great we are together during the most exhausting and stressful time of our lives.

We have really enjoyed quiet mornings on the front porch at the new house. We don’t have homes across from us and it’s nice to watch for deer in the open fields.

Ryan and I worked all day Sunday to bring our old home projects to an end. We were completely disgusting and sweaty, but the house looks amazing! I have scrubbed until my fingers are raw, but that home looks wonderful. I am really getting excited about who will live there next. I hope that they love and enjoy that home because we have really put a lot into it. I know it will make someone a great home.

And we are so excited to move on to the new stage of our lives! This little family is getting geared up for new, fun, and exciting things. I am so looking forward to sharing it with you as we go….
