Easy one skillet meal.
NEED:
3 slices of bacon
1 pound of ground beef
1/2 cup of celery, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup of green pepper, chopped
1 teaspoon of salt
1 can of of kidney beans, drained
1/3 cup of uncooked rice
1 1/2 cup of water
Cook up the bacon until it is crisp, crumble and set it aside.
In same skillet cook the ground beef, celery, onion and green pepper until the ground beef is browned and veggies are tender.
Season it with th salt and a dash of pepper.
Drain off excess fat and stir in the beans, rice and water.
Cover and reduce heat.
Simmer until the rice is done.
