Just Tell Me What You are Conserving?
Oh American “conservatives,” I read your little forums and journals. Please tell me what you are conserving? I think I once thought this was to mean traditional Christian civilisation, the best parts in the best sense, I mean looking idealistically. But that can´t be what you mean. I know you are in favour of obscenity, because it represents a capitalist mediation of the marital act. I know you are in favour of handmaidenhood, because it represents a capitalist mediation of motherhood. You also want to buy and sell organs, because it represents a capitalist mediation of the human person. Are you conservatives or money changers? You can keep the label ´Republican,´ I don´t even know what a Republic is. But let go of the conservative part. Oh and your besties can lose the ´liberal´ label too.
