New research from NASA has developed a closer understanding about alien life on Mars…did life exist below the red planet’s surface? Previous study is now shifting as we learn that water only existed on the planet’s surface for short periods of time. This study used mineral mapping data on more than 350 different sites on mars. The studies of clay minerals provide insight into the type of atmosphere that existed on Mars – would the atmosphere be thick enough to keep the surface water from freezing or evaporating?
