Group of stars in the Pleiades in the center is about 8 light years, and the outer ones, about 43 light years. It contains more than 1,000  confirmed statistical stars, although this number excludes unresolved binary stars. Group contains young stars, hot, blue, and up to 14 of them can be seen with the naked eye. Arrangement of the brightest stars, is somewhat similar to Ursa Major and Ursa Minor. The total mass contained in the group is estimated of about 800 solar masses.
