(Before It's News)

http://lupuvictor.blogspot.com The Moon can sometimes appear reddish, especially during eclipses, but what we call a “Blue Moon“, has nothing to do with it’s color.

A blue moon can refer to the third full moon in a season with four full moons. Usually, a full year has 12  full moons, occurring about once a month. In addition to the twelve lunar cycles, each solar calendar year contains roughly eleven days more than the lunar year of 12 lunations. Extra days accumulates, so every two or three years (7 times in 19 years Meton cycle), there is a extra full moon and it is called Blue Moon.
Do not think that Blue Moon is about it’s color. It will have the same yellow colour and shine like any full moon.
