Curiosity Set To Take On Mars

Go Curiosity! is the cry being heard around JPL today…and for good reason. The Curiosity mission is the most ambitious robot mission ever undertaken by the US space agency.

If NASA can pull off what they are half-jokingly calling the Seven Minutes of Terror, it will lay the foundation for potentially more knowledge from the Red Planet than all previous missions to the fourth planet combined.

Curiosity also has the possibility of confirming life. If it does find life thaen that just about seals the deal that life is rampant throughout our galaxy and the universe.

The multi-billion dollar planetary mission is the leading edge of high technology and brings a sports car sized rover to the surface of Mars.

Curiosity has completed its 250 million mile voyage and has reached Mars. It will enter the Martian atmosphere shortly after 10:30 p.m. PDT.
