Extremely rare image of a meteor in daylight with bow shock visible

This photograph was taken on the evening of July 30th, 2012 in the vicinity of Walnut Canyon, Flagstaff, Arizona at about 6:15 pm. Captured quite by accident and visible in the 11 o’clock position in the picture. It’s a meteor with it’s bow shockwave clearly visible as a halo riding in front of the object.

The odds of capturing such an image are quite literally, astronomical.
