Two twin space shuttle solid rocket boosters rolled up to NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center on Wednesday, after spending two weeks on a cross-country road trip from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The 149-foot boosters will remain in storage at Dryden until the California Science Center is ready to display them with space shuttle Endeavour. They’ll be part of a future launch pad like exhibit that will display the space shuttle vertically inside the CSC’s Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center.
