The area in question is actually not much bigger then an inch or so and has been the target of the chem cam recently.
Here i a vid clip where they show the area extensively and you will see it is no jaw bone really.

This guy is not very bright. He has drawn everyone’s attention to something that could be anything. Scroll to the top of the photo and take a look at what is there instead.
This is from the guy whom looks at rocks, and finds fossil blood vessels inside. Congratulations, you just attained a whole new level of crazy. Do you actually meet anyone face to face who believes that, and are even you concerned about being left alone with them and being killed in your sleep?
