On Tuesday, space shuttle Endeavour opened on display at the California Science Center (CSC), following a ceremony held underneath the retired NASA orbiter for invited guests and schoolchildren. The commemoration, which was emceed by Bill Nye, “The Science Guy,” marked the culmination of Endeavour’s long journey ‘home’ and the start of its new mission to inspire a new generation of scientists, engineers and explorers.
