NASA’s final space shuttle delivery is just one month away. The space shuttle Atlantis, riding atop the space agency’s 76-wheel Orbiter Transport System (OTS), will travel the 10 miles from Kennedy Space Center’s Vehicle Assembly Building to the center’s visitor complex on Nov. 2. The public can witness Atlantis arriving at its $100 million exhibit, and see and photograph the shuttle from all sides, with tickets to the “Celebrate the Journey” event, now being offered by the visitor complex.
