Sacrobosco crater on the Moon Telescope images

Sacrobosco (98 km), it is located southeast of the crater Azophi, and is an eroded crater with a low edge, affected by impacts with a large wall, ragged interior, which has three craters that are significant on the floor : Sacrobosco A, B, and C.

Sacrobosco has a depth of 2.8 km, and is named after astronomer Johannes de Sacrobosco or Sacro Bosco (John of Holywood, 1195 – 1256).
