Global recording artist and UNESCO Artist for Peace Ambassador, Sarah Brightman, announced Wednesday in Moscow her intention to launch on a Soyuz mission to the International Space Station in partnership with Space Adventures, Ltd. During her 10-day tenure on board the space station, Brightman will advocate for UNESCO’s mandate to promote peace and sustainable development to safeguard our planet’s future. She plans to begin six months of training following a yearlong world tour promoting her new classical music album, “Dreamchaser.”
