NASA Misidentified “Rock Jake” on Mars

NASA misidentified “Rock Jake” as a feldspar (note 1). The reason for the misidentification is very simple: NASA presupposed it was a rock and analysed its  chemical elements to identify it as a rock when it is actually a fossil (note 2). Fossils cannot be identified by chemical elements. No one uses chemical elements to identify a fossil.
