Strange marks on the ground taken on the surface of Mars by Curiosity.

The photo here is we arrested. References are MASTCAM RIGHT FLOOR 90. Photo taken Nov. 6, 2012, and posted on the site on 21 November 2012: I circled in red and well signposted these curious marks geometric.

They look suspiciously like SOIL SAMPLES to me! Is’nt that what curiousity is up there for? Really man wtf? things like this annoy me! Its not rocket science is it.
Are you sure its not a test site for the laser? Looks like it very well could be.
This picture was posted next to an article stating Curiosity had taken soil samples on another website.
So yeah…soil samples.
