Total solar eclipse on November 13–14, 2012

 - There will be a total solar eclipse today, starting at 19:38 GMT/Universal Time (UT) on November 13 and ending at 00:46 GMT/UT on November 14, 2012.

Watch an animation of the eclipse’s path and check out the world clock to see the times in your part of the world. The eclipse will affect everyone on earth, but its effects will be felt most strongly by those living in areas where it can be seen: parts of Australia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, parts of South America and Antarctica.
