NASA Observes Fast Sun Spot 6 Earths Across Formed Over The Course 48 Hours

(Before It's News)

New solar flare risk as a new formation of sun spots has appeared on the sun over the course of the 19th to the 20th 2013,

As magnetic fields on the sun rearrange and realign, dark spots known as sunspots can appear on its surface. Over the course of Feb. 19-20, 2013, scientists watched a giant sunspot form in under 48 hours. It has grown to over six Earth diameters across but its full extent is hard to judge since the spot lies on a sphere not a flat disk.

The spot quickly evolved into what’s called a delta region, in which the lighter areas around the sunspot, the penumbra, exhibit magnetic fields that point in the opposite direction of those fields in the center, dark area. This is a fairly unstable configuration that scientists know can lead to eruptions of radiation on the sun called solar flares.

Some recent solar news, a fairly small solar storm is expected on Sunday.

The leading edge of a solar storm, which was expected since a massive eruption on the sun on Thursday, has reached Earth but caused no damage, scientists say.

The US Space Weather Prediction Center of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) reported that a G1, or minor, geomagnetic storm was under way on Sunday.

The storm, which reached Earth at 1730 GMT on Saturday, could stretch to G2, or moderate, levels over the remainder of the weekend, NOAA said.

“Such a phenomenon lasts a couple of days and causes massive oscillations in the magnetic field,” said Markus Langraf of the ESA satellite control centre in Darmstadt, Germany.

More solar flares are ecpected.

Remote viewers predict massive solar flare “kill shot” after sucesssfully predicting what they called “the shot across the bowel” which was a massive solar flare which thankfully missed us, it was classed the biggest solar flare in history

So is this it? when are the lights going to go out and  i can finally sail to Morroco and live out my days in the atlas mountains? where the dates are ripe and the beer is tolerable.

It’s not all doom and gloom.

  • so? am i supposed to be scared of sun spots now? not like you or anyone else can do anything about what the sun wants to do.. i think ill just carry on regardless..

when deciding how much attention i should pay to particular posts.. when stuff like this is written.. ” “the shot across the bowel”"

i tend to just chuckle quietly to myself at the gross stupidity of some people, and think, wow.. what a moron.
