CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — In what soon may come to be considered routine, SpaceX will launch its Dragon spacecraft on another resupply mission to the International Space Station. NASA and its international partners are targeting Friday, March 1, as the launch date for the next cargo flight. Launch is scheduled for 10:10 a.m. EST from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
SpaceX’s Dragon capsule will be filled with about 1,200 pounds of supplies for the space station crew and experiments being conducted aboard the orbiting laboratory.
At the time the (above) picture was taken teams had just installed the spacecraft’s solar array fairings. The Dragon spacecraft stands inside a processing hangar at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
