A big ball of fire, or a fragment of a large meteorite, illuminated the skies in central Spain on the night of Saturday, April 13, 2013. The ‘object hit the Earth’s atmosphere initially, on the vertical Villamuelas city in the province of Toledo. “The impact was sudden that the object has become incandescent and produced a fireball at about 100 km altitude,” said Professor José María Madiedo, University of Huelva.
