DISCLOSURE IN FOX 13 NEWS
WASHINGTON – A former Utah Congressman was one of several former lawmakers who participated in a mock Congressional hearing on the subject of aliens.
The Citizen Hearing on Disclosure used former lawmakers to conduct a hearing as much like an actual Congressional hearing as possible. According to their website, “The Citizen Hearing on Disclosure will attempt to accomplish what the U.S. Congress has failed to do for forty-five years – seek out the facts surrounding the most important issue of this or any time.”
Former Utah Congressman Merrill Cook took part in the hearing.
“If they can shed light on this subject that’s what I want to help this group do,” he said.
Cook said the U.S. government has tracked many sightings of unexplained objects.
“The United States government has spent hundreds of millions of dollars on a project where they’ve come out with 701 sightings of these kinds of objects that after all the investigation they could do remain unexplained.”
But Cook said that doesn’t mean these sightings are of aliens.
“Concluding that those objects are extraterrestrial is still a leap,” he said. “It’s still acknowledging that phenomena does not necessarily acknowledge extraterrestrial life.”
