As a kid I was always interested in colonial America so this is those interest in colonization times a million. As for space and sci-fi enthusiasts, these are very exciting times. There is now a private space race to get to Mars and not only to get to Mars but to establish a permanent human colony on Mars. I will be alive to see that! How amazing right? So of course it gets my imagination going, what would a colony on Mars look like? Artists since the 1970s have been creating martian colonies and what they might look like. Below is a small compilation of what a Terran settlement on Mars could look like. Good luck Mars One, SpaceX and all the others. -Mort

I agree communism sounds good and you might enjoy reading Marks but communism has never worked in a human history. Remember? ‘All animals are equal but some animals are more equal’. And try to colonize Mars with this pilosophy. Can we just colonizing other planets do in some normal, not reality show way. what about reality, can you imagine it ?
It would cost hundreds of billions and serve no useful purpose.

People think reality show means reality these days. Strange
They should build them entirely underground as soon as possible. Not only will this help to insulate them from heat and cold but it also can protect against meteorites. The gravity is only 1/3 or earth so they will be able to do much more work and lift heavier loads also they won’t need as much habitat materials brought from Earth.
Personally I feel that God will never allow us to go to another planet. We will screw it up just like earth.
heck, we probably came from mars. we just screwed up so bad we had to migrate to earth. twist your brain around that.
Whatever this is, it is going to cost the US a fortune, and who is going to pay for that..? It might be better to get things sorted out here on earth than go galavanting around the system spending money you don’t have. It would serve no purpose anyway, too many egos at work with this, they will go down in history as earth killers.

What I think is hilarious….and you can search for true colors of mars, moon etc…because NASA distorts their image colors….why because Mars was inhabited by some of us and others and there’s plenty of artifacts that have been blurred out.
