“Lost City” Hints At Life On Moons Of Jupiter And Saturn Say Scientists
Two papers published recently in the journal Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B provide more detail on the chemical and precursor metabolic reactions that have to take place to pave the pathway for life. Russell and his co-authors describe how the interactions between the earliest oceans and alkaline hydrothermal fluids likely produced acetate (comparable to vinegar).
A paper published in the journal Biochimica et Biophysica Acta analyzes the structural similarity between the most ancient enzymes of life and minerals precipitated at these alkaline vents, an indication that the first life didn’t have to invent its first catalysts and engines.
“Our work on alkaline hot springs on the ocean floor makes what we believe is the most plausible case for the origin of the life’s building blocks and its energy supply,” Russell said. “Our hypothesis is testable, has the right assortment of ingredients and obeys the laws of thermodynamics.”
Russell’s work was funded by the NASA Astrobiology Institute through the Icy Worlds team based at JPL, a division of the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena. The NASA Astrobiology Institute, based at NASA’s Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, Calif., is a partnership among NASA, 15 U.S. teams and 13 international consortia. The Institute is part of NASA’s astrobiology program, which supports research into the origin, evolution, distribution and future of life on Earth and the potential for life elsewhere.

In the beginning God created the heavens on the earth. They are willingly ignorant of the fact that God mde the earth both in the water and of the water. In 6 days he created them.
It does not matter how you study science. It will look like the earth was created in thousands of years. God made every seed of the plant that he created. The first plant was not created of a seed, but all susiquent plants were made of a seed. The same is for man. The first man was created of the dust but the second of a seed through a woman. No matter how you study the first man looks like he came of a seed according to science. If you don’t accept it by faith in a God that is able to do anything then you will never get it.
Prophecy proves the God of the Bible. Miracles are happenning around the globe. If God can heal a person who was blind from bith at a simple word through faith then he can do anything. Everything is just molicules that can be rearanged through faith.
The great deception has begun as soon ET will surface telling all he is from the distant past or the distant future. Whose report will you believe?
really?! —–^ what is it with these christians always trying to take credit for everything. your GOD and your BIBLE disagree with themselves constantly. GIVE IT UP ALREADY. its gettign old. Blind faith is the same and insanity. you keep believing the same thing over and over and nothing changes. People still die in mass numbers. no miracle happen. no saving is being done. GOD is not who you say he is and he doesnt “love us” like you say he does. we were an experiment and slave race created to mine gold or even worse for NOTHING.

If you know anything at all about the structure of life, you will know that there are many interdependent, enormously complex, but entirely dissimilar layers to the living organism. For a scientist to speak about a simple molecule like “acetate” in such hushed tones shows how bankrupt all their ideas are. They will swallow a camel and strain at a gnat, and will believe the most illogical and nonsensical ideas, ANYTHING but simply believe the truth which has been told us “from the beginning”.
One small observation. When DNA codes for a protein, it is also coding for how that protein, often thousands of amino acids long, ( and try getting the order right by “random mutation”! ) is going to fold. This is actually more important than which aminoacids are present. The 3D shape of a protein is crucial for its function. We still have no idea how to predict how any particular sequence is going to fold at the macro level. But beyond even this, once the protein is folded, it frequently needs to attract a metal ion into its active site in order to be even partially functional. So we have to ask ourselves how the protein “knew” that there was such a thing as a metal ion, and how it “knew” to leave a precisely-shaped and sized void in its structure, into which this one unique metal ion could fit. In addition to the shape of the hole, of course, the hole needs to carry the correct electrical charge, or the ion will be repelled rather than attracted.
This simply beggars belief. There is no other option, especially for someone who claims to represent mankind at his most logical, ie a scientist, than to simply accept what we have been told by God Himself, the Lord Jesus Christ, that He created all things both visible and invisible by the Word of His Power. A simple, but endlessly profound statement.
One of the infinite number of proofs for Christianity is simply that the world is sharply divided into those who believe, and those who do not. There is no middle ground; there is no compromising between atheism and belief, as we see from JT’s comments below. This in itself reveals that God has made a distinction between us, a believer is truly, as God tells us, an entirely new creation, with an entirely different spirit indwelling, the Spirit of God.
A final observation. Revelation 13 v 8 speaks of “The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world”. Rather an odd statement, especially for an unbeliever. Christ was surely slain at Calvary, was He not? Quite some time after the foundation of the world?
If you take the very first word in the Hebrew Bible, ie the OT, it is “In the beginning”; one word in Hebrew. This word is made up of six letters. Each Hebrew letter has a meaning separate from anything which might appear when it is part of a word. The statement of the first six letters in the Bible, when read as a six-concept story, is “The Son of God shall die by His own hand on a cross”.

The Earth is about 700 billion yrs old. The first colony on the planet was Human, and called Hybornea. The Reptilians wiped it out. There is life every where in God’s Universe, personally I think it is silly to debate between creationism and evolutionism, because everything is created and everything evolves.
