Upon the sunset of Sunday September 2nd around  7pm I saw a really bright lit object in the sky.   A few neighbors got together and brought out the telescope to get a better view.

What it looked like was a self-lit weather balloon at first,  then a few minutes later it has something hanging down or perhaps a fin type of thing is what it looked like through the telescope.

The height of it was at-the-least slightly above the earths atmosphere and stood out like headlights to a deer in the road at night.  It was the only object in the sky that was noticeable.

After about 1/2 hour the clouds were coming in like a fog layer and covered anymore viewing of the object.
