(Before It's News)

Over the last decade, RedOrbit Inc. has established itself as a premier source of news, commentary, and information about the latest trends in space, science, health, and technology.

In order to continue bringing the highest standard of content to its readers, RedOrbit has decided to branch-out beyond the written word by developing an exclusive video series entitled “Tomorrow’s Discoveries.” This Web-series will bring viewers the latest developments in the fields of space and science by traveling to the world’s top research centers and exploring cutting edge research that are driving tomorrow’s technologies.

Tomorrow’s Discoveries is a branch-off of a podcast series that RedOrbit launched last year called “Your Universe Today,” in which we interview the leading scientists around the world about the latest developments in astronomy and space exploration. The success of this podcast is what drove RedOrbit to develop this new, enticing video series.

The first episode of Tomorrow’s Discoveries is already available to watch online, and new episodes are expected to come in the following weeks. RedOrbit believes this new endeavor will open up a new avenue for educators to bring science into the classroom in a fun, intriguing way.

“In the pilot episode, released earlier this week, we traveled to NASA’s Glenn Research Center and explored their Zero Gravity facility. Here, scientists work to understand the effects of a zero gravity environment, a necessary reality of traveling beyond the Earth’s atmosphere. The science learned here will be vital to mankind’s continued exploration of the cosmos,” said John P. Millis, Ph.D, an astronomer who writes for RedOrbit and the host of “Tomorrow’s Discoveries.”

“In the coming weeks we will be seeing firsthand the engines that will power the first manned missions to Mars, explore materials being developed with incredible strength and lightness, witness the amazing process of designing a space craft, and much more,” Dr. Millis continued.
