Orbital Sciences Corporation held a Flight Readiness Review on Wednesday (Sept. 4) and gave a “go” to proceed toward the launch of the company’s first flight to the International Space Station. The demonstration mission, targeted for a Sept. 17 lift off, will test Orbital’s first Cygnus cargo spacecraft, which has been christened after the late astronaut G. David Low.
