ALERT: Is Planet Earth in Trouble???
On October 1, 2013, Comet ISON reached its closest point to Mars at 21,000 miles (33,000 km) and there seem to be conflicting predictions on what ISONs orbit is going to be as it continues to pass through our solar system. The debris field of the comet might also create havoc through the solar system. But what is creating the most stir, is whether ISON is just the first warning trumpet of more to come.
