(N.Morgan) There has been a great deal of controversy in regards to our travels to the moon. In a new development, a piece of the moon, given by Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong, to Holland are fake,it turns out it is just petrified wood, not a moon rock. Sounds like we might be in some trouble with the world, giving world leaders old wood, may not go over so well.

  • If they think that rock is fake, they should look at our President and Congress!!

  • Good God, this is OLD news. It’s been known since 2009.

And what happened is that the real moon rock was in a museum, but the old (now dead) Prime Minister had a rock in his private collection that he thought was a moon rock, but wasn’t.

“In fact, the Netherlands is one of the few countries where the location of both the Apollo 11 and Apollo 17 gift rocks is known. Britain, Australia, Canada and New Zealand are others — though none has rocks from both missions on permanent public display and some have been kept in storage for decades.

“The Amsterdam case appears to be not fraud but the result of poor vetting by the Rijksmuseum.”

Just another stale story, hyped up by so-called “reporters” on BIN.

  • Still could be real from the moon. Just as rock is petrified here on Earth, the same could be said for wood on the moon—–which would mean the moon was a base and or inhabited long ago

  • Had gave–NICE. Whoever is responsibility. Check the article from USA Today-dated in 2009.
Good Lord–Check this stuff out–Some mighty smart people out here before –Reporting OLD News for NEW News. That is funny BUT embasassig.
