One of the most striking features of the climate change ‘debate’ is that it’s no longer a debate. Climate scientists around the world agree that climate change is very real — the Earth is warming up and we are the cause.
Yet while there is consensus even among the most reserved climate scientists, a portion of the public persistently disagrees. A recent Pew Research Center — an organization that provides information on demographic trends across the U.S. and the world — survey found that roughly four-in-ten Americans see climate change as a global threat. Climate scientists are racking their brains in an attempt to find out why.
Yale law professor Dan Kahan has done extensive research which reveals how our deep-rooted cultural dispositions might interfere with our perceptions of reality.

Total BS. I resist the “notion” of global warming because the data says otherwise:

Maybe, Flint. But it hit 126° on my back deck a few years ago. Australia is having an unbelievable heat wave. Plus, about 99.9 of all credible scientists believe it’s getting hotter. Sochi had to make their snow. No snow in the Sierras. Hell with it, it’s time to crack open a cold beer to combat this situation.
Mitch, with all due respect, the GISP2 data says it is cooling over the timescale of the present interglacial. The data is not fictitious and is there for all to see. There’s enough information in the graphic I posted to look it up and see for yourself. It is peer-reviewed data that has not been refuted.
Until I see ice core data that shows otherwise, I stand by my assertion.
For some such as InLikeFlint it wouldn’t matter any evidence indicating there has been a change in the environment. Its okay though because these are the people we do not want to be prepared. Just watch strange events of 2013 and strange events of January 2014 to get a heads up on whats going on.
We pray for you in Australia. Many of us know whats going on and no matter how many trolls we hear from it will NOT change the fact their BS is just BS.
With that said, I do believe these changes would have happened regardless of Man’s destruction of the planet.
Friends2you, as I juist told Mitch, the GISP2 data says it is cooling over the timescale of the present interglacial. Until I see ice core data that shows otherwise, I stand by my assertion.
I never said there is no change. It is just not the way we’ve been led to believe by the PTB. There is change and soon there will be much more change when the present interglacial ends. Sooner or later it will end and the Earth will move back to ice age conditions, which has been the dominant form of climate of the Earth over the last 500,000 years.

Hello ya’ll: what do we have here then? Global warming huh? Even worse than that AGW stated like it’s fact! Preposterous.
Get off the grass with your AGW nonsense. No one under the age of 18 has experienced any global warming, anthropogenic or otherwise. In fact: it has been warmer for most of the last 10 thousand years than it is today. In fact: the Antarctic is setting almost 2 century old records and the Arctic has gained 50% since Al Gore predicted the ice was going to melt.
Check out the Vostok Ice Core Data; there’s every reason to suggest that the climate will continue it’s inexorable cycle just as it has done during the last 500 to 700 thousand years. Near as we can tell, anyway, and there’s no carbon dating involved.
It’s the Sun stupid. So there.
Hey Flint, telling the truth i see.
@ Uni-Today: Do you mean like these fellows? Or do you mean some other consensual scientific community? You do know that science is not decided on consensus, don’t you? You should.

Science is what we can prove repeatedly, nothing more. No consensus required just eyes and ears.
