Hi everyone,

You may have wondered why I didn’t post any new items on my site.

Well, I was in the hospital for a few weeks and the doctors discovered that I’m having several metastases of the original melanoma tumour I was operated on two years ago. Last year I also had several metastases, which could be surgically removed and later be treated by radio therapy. This time the metastases can’t be removed and I’ll probably won’t live much longer than about 6 to 18 months.

So, now I’m trying to enjoy the time I have left as much as I can, by spending it on nice things like holidays. However, since I love astronomy so much, I will also try to make new “Images of the Day”, even though I won’t post one every day
