We shall see what happens this Friday night, also be sure to point your scopes to the moon, see what you can capture! Meteor shower or will it be a meteor storm?
Expect a major uptick in seismic and solar activity between NOW and the beginning of June. As June approaches, Earth will align with three suns (Sol, Antares and Aldebaran), two comets (Lovejoy and 209P Linear) just as the comets plunge into the magnetic meat of the heliosphere (ecliptic plane), all near the same time Earth crosses Mars’ magnetic (IMF) connection to the Sun! And it all starts off this weekend with a great meteor SHOWer from “ancient” 209P Linear debris. Enjoy the show tomorrow/Friday night! Major heads-up as we approach the end of the month!!
