M1 Flare From Sunspot 2065 How Can This Possibly be, NOAA?

May 24 2014

X-Ray flux has elevated over the past few hours and produced an M1.3 flare from sunspot 2065, right near the dueling IMF connections for Earth and Mars! NOAA only gives it a 10% chance. Look harder guys, much harder…

The meteor shower was a fizzle from SOCAL, too many low clouds. Did any of you see a meteor shower last night?

Are you prepared?
