Tiles differ from rocks:

1.Tiles are manufactured pieces of durable material. Its top side can be smooth and flat. Its bottom side can be flat. Tiles can be made from ceramics and paved with concrete.

2.No rocks look like tile pavement. 

Concrete pavement differs from rocks:

1.Concrete pavement is topped with a concrete slab of uniform thickness. 

2.Rocks rarely look like the concrete pavement described above.
