According to a recently published report, the report states Earth has once again escaped the dangers from out of space as a solar flare failed to destroy civilisation as we know it. As NASA explains solar flairs are very powerful radiations. Basically, they shouldn’t physically affect humans but they could cause really huge damage to the atmosphere and disturb all communications. In fact, from what it is know, some solar flares are so powerful that they could even fry electronics.
On NASA’s scale the solar flare the Earth has just avoided was a X2.2 . Considering that an X1 is the lowest level of radiation from a solar flare, an X2 is twice as powerful and an X3 twice as intense than an X2, you can just imagine what catastrophic event we have just avoided.

Starting on June 10, the sun emitted a series of powerful solar flares, known as X-Class flares, which were observed in brilliant colors by NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory. According to NASA, the flares erupted from the left side of the sun, twice on June 10 and once on June 11. Wednesday’s flare was classified as an X1.0, whereas Tuesday’s were a bit stronger, at X1.5 and X2.2.

Why is it been called Ëarth has escaped apocalypse?
While we are using electronics for 70 years now, were these burst then not before
say 2012?
Or is it that the Maya prophecy has to do with solar flares and not nuclear war?
I think, if I had been an Amish, I wouldn’t care about this…
I think the big one is coming too the earth very soon along with other things. It is my sincere belief that the True God will use these natural forces too accomplish his will. When the Bible refers too a cleansed earth it will take a lot of cleanup too clean the mess that man has made on this earth.
earlcity might agree – the article should have been titled “Earth has another normal, uneventful day.” When you think about the vast distances of our solar system and the fact that flares leave the sun in any and every direction, it’s no surprise that 99.999999999 etc % of the time they miss our planet. Of course eventually, there will be a civilization-rocking hit. I believe trashman is correct; it sounds like a massive solar flare or CME (coronal mass ejection) hits the earth when the sun flares up in Isaiah 30:26 and “the light of the sun will be seven times brighter.” (Isaiah 30:26) And something hits the earth in Revelation 8:8 when “something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea.” I believe certain cosmic disasters are regular and predictable and that the next big event is coming in December 2019.
