A strong, but impulsive solar flare measuring X2.2 was detected Tuesday morning around new sunspot 2087 at 11:42 UTC. The source sunspot is now just rotating into view off off the southeast limb. A strong solar flare measuring X1.5 observed around region 2087 at 12:52 UTC / June 10, 2014. This is now the second such event in just over an hour. The event was associated with a Type IV radio emission and a 10cm Radio Burst measuring 530 solar flux units and lasting 18 minutes http://www.solarham.net/data/events/jun10_2014_x1.5/index.htm
