Blood moon: Amazing Pictures Show Moon Turning Bright Red in Spectacular Lunar Eclipse

This is the spectacular moment the moon turned blood red today, as this century’s shortest total lunar eclipse wowed billions across the glove.

The total eclipse lasted for four minutes and 43 seconds – unlike most total lunar eclipses where the moon turns red for more than an hour.

Just two weeks after the world was transfixed by a total solar eclipse, the lunar spectacle was visible in Asia, America and Australia this Easter Saturday.
