Martian Blood Reminds me of my Blood.

When I first looked at the above photo, I remembered long time ago when I put a digital microscope on the back of my hand and saw my red blood cells moving under my skin. The above photo also reminds me of the time when I watched meteorites under microscopes. They are all so similar. Whenever I look for blood vessel remains in microscopy, I always look for round dots in the blood vessels, because most blood vessels are transparent, thus enabling the circulating red blood cells to be visible under  light microscopes. That’s why I could see my blood under my skin. NASA’s Mars rover Opportunity took the above microscopy on Sol 4075.  One pixel in this photo is about 30 microns across. The above image has been cropped and enlarged 200% fromwww.flickr.com/photos/lunexit/19668340715/in/dateposted/
