Boeing celebrated the opening of its new Commercial Crew and Cargo Processing Facility (C3PF) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center by revealing the new name it chose for its space capsule that will be assembled in the renovated space shuttle-era hangar. The structural test article for the CST-100 ‘Starliner’ is now coming together in the C3PF, to be followed by the first of three capsules that will fly into space beginning in 2017.
