Three older images from the Spirit rover are reexamined again.
It turns out the object which had appeared to disappear actually did not disappear, but could be seen at a different location.
We have enlisted the help of two professional photographers.
On the basis of reference points, we can determine that the object changed location. And that’s basically impossible on a dead planet where there is no life at all.
