PLanet X Did it Eclipse The Sun

An incredible thing happened in the heavens when what NASA called a rare Double eclipse of the Earth and Moon blocked the sun and the same time. But what really caught my attention was the unusual shape of the earth in the shot.

NASA claims it was the atmosphere but many other eclipses Earth doesn’t look so distorted. Could this be something other than the Earth?
