Radio Astronomers have observed a likely solar system object moving in the southern skies close to the stars of the Alpha Centauri trinary system. Observation of the radio source has been very limited, with only a reading of angular speed and brightness, which allows only a speculative rough guess of the distance of the object. (The RF spectrum distribution of the source appears to be thermal.) For a super-Earth sized object the estimated distance is on the order of 300au while for a small super cool brown dwarf the guess for the distance would be several times further.
