Independence Plaza, Space Center Houston’s new exhibit of NASA’s 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, is now boarding. The $12 million, eight-story-tall attraction opened Saturday morning (Jan. 23) after a ceremony featuring skydivers and fireworks. The public can go inside both the historic jumbo jetliner and replica space shuttle.
