Meteor Hits and Kills Man in India – Right Before 2-Year Anniversary of Chelyabinsk Meteor Impact

A male bus driver by the name of V. Kamaraj was tragically killed after getting hit by a meteorite on Saturday, February 6th. News traveled far, making it to CNN and NPR and other mainstream outlets – not just for the tragedy, but for the precedent. This is purportedly the first time anyone has ever died because of a meteorite impact.
That statistic is hard to believe, but consider this – while Texas UFO Sightings reported on a meteor causing two deaths in 2013, the cause of both deaths was more indirect – smoke inhalation.
